Roadkill Pinoy · Informativa sulla privacy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
In short: Roadkill Pinoy has no ads and no tracking, and never sells data. Your progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud. If you use online play (leaderboards, friends and private rooms), an anonymous player id, your board name, your times and best-lap ghosts, your friends list and the positions of your kart during an online race go to Unity Gaming Services to make those features work. You can switch online play off, and delete what it stored, in the game's Settings.
Who we are
Roadkill Pinoy is made by Sensetrails Sàrl ("we"). Contact: info@sensetrails.com, Villars-Champvent, Switzerland.
What the game stores, and where
- Your progress (unlocks, trophies, times, settings, Survival upgrades) is saved on your device. If iCloud is on, a copy is kept in your iCloud key-value storage so your other devices can pick it up. We cannot read it.
- Ghost laps and records stay on your device.
- A crash log of errors the game ran into is kept on your device, to help fix bugs. It holds technical details only: the game version, device model, iOS version and error messages. It never includes your name, location or contacts.
What leaves your device
- Nothing, unless you choose. Without online play the game makes no network requests of its own.
- Online play, when it is on (Settings › Online play; see below).
- Crash reports: if you tap Settings › Send crash report, the iOS share sheet opens with the report. You decide whether to send it and to whom, for example by e-mail to us. If you send it to us, we use it only to fix the game, and we delete it once the bug is fixed or after 12 months at most.
- Apple's crash and usage statistics: if you've allowed your iPhone to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports and usage figures. That's between you and Apple and can be turned off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Online play
The leaderboards, friends and private rooms run on Unity Gaming Services, provided by Unity Technologies under Unity's privacy policy, as our service provider. When online play is on:
- The game signs you in anonymously: Unity gives your phone a random player id. There is no password, e-mail or real name.
- Your board name is a random one ("BoldTarsier#4821") or one you choose. Names are checked on your phone against a list of rude words before they are sent. Other players see it on the boards, in your friends list and in rooms.
- Your best-lap times, daily-challenge times and best-lap ghosts (the path your kart took) are stored so others can see them on the boards and race your ghost.
- Your friends list and friend requests are stored so you can see each other's times.
- In a private room, your kart's position, what it carries and the room's preset lines pass between the players' phones through Unity's relay servers while you race. They are not stored. There is no free-text chat.
- Unity's servers see your connection's IP address, from which they work out an approximate region to pick a server. The game does not ask for your location.
Data is sent encrypted. It is used only to run online play, never for advertising, and never sold. Switch it off in Settings › Online play (the game signs out and sends nothing more), or delete it with Settings › Delete online data, which deletes your Unity player account and the times, ghosts, name and friends stored under it. You can also ask us to delete it.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics SDKs of our own, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling of data, no passwords, and no precise location, camera, microphone or contacts access.
Children
Without online play the game collects no personal data from anyone. Online play collects only what is listed above, for anyone who uses it, and offers no free-text chat; a parent can switch it off in Settings.
Your rights
Your progress is yours, on your device: to erase it, delete the app, and remove its iCloud data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud. What online play stored can be deleted at any time from the game (Settings › Delete online data), or by asking us; you can also ask us what it holds. If you e-mailed us a crash report, ask us and we will delete it.
Changes
If the game starts collecting anything not listed here, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the App Store privacy label with it.
